A message from our CEO
When I founded PinkNews back in 2005, I wanted to provide the LGBTQ+ community with a source of trusted and quality news. I had no idea of the amazing journey that the business would go on, from being a standalone web product with just a few thousand users, to becoming by far the world's largest LGBTQ+ media brand, reaching up to 60 million unique users across web and social platforms each month, continuing to provide our award-winning content and journalism to our engaged and rapidly growing audience.
At the heart of everything we do at PinkNews is the mission to inform, inspire change and empower people to be themselves. Throughout our history PinkNews has been at the forefront of meaningful change in a way that few other brands can compare to, from leading the campaign to legalise marriage equality in the UK, to hosting Prime Ministers, political party leaders and community activists at our events to push the needle forward on the most important LGBTQ+ issues of the day.
Fundamental to PinkNews' amazing growth and progress as a business, is the incredible team who come to work to deliver our mission and purpose in all they do. I am so proud of the team we have built and the talent and energy they bring to PinkNews. Being able to support them to lead, grow and develop is one of the biggest privileges of running the business.
