Job Title: Senior Media Sales Executive
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE (+ commission)
Location: London - hybrid remote (1-2 days per week in our London based office)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Media Sales Executive to join our growing commercial team. Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, this will be a client-facing role, focused on delivering new business and developing strong relationships with new and existing brands and advertising agencies.
PinkNews currently delivers content across a variety of channels including our website, app, social channels and events portfolio. We are one of the world’s largest Snap publishers, with 30 shows across the Snapchat Discover platform. We provide partnership opportunities across all of these and more, offering display advertising, custom editorial, social and video content, and event activations to connect clients with our global audience.
Responsibilities:
Proactively seek & pitch new business opportunities via phone/video and occasional face-to-face meetings with clients.
Show initiative in responding to inbound campaign briefs in a creative, organised and timely manner.
Developing an understanding of clients’ needs and expectations and pitching viable solutions to match these.
Providing excellent communication with clients at all times.
Attending key industry networking events.
Developing and maintaining a suite of high-quality materials to be used in proposals and presentations to engage clients.
Work closely with the Head of Brand Partnerships to achieve team goals and personal revenue targets.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of current and future partnership contacts and opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the internal departments to deliver sold-campaigns on time and to budget.

Skills and Experience:
· Previous experience working in a media sales role, with a proven track record of success.
· Experience in media sales in a publishing environment
· Confident and curious – not afraid to pick up the phone to engage with partners and excite them about the opportunities available at PinkNews.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to build sustainable relationships in a partnerships setting.
· Experience and motivation working towards both individual and team targets.
· Ability to adapt and respond to clients’ needs and concerns at all times.

The Package:
· Salary from £35,000-£40,000 DOE (plus commission)
