Events

Making it an experience.

Our team delivers an average of 15 events every year, ranging from internal events, professional conferences and parliamentary receptions, to the flagship PinkNews Awards. We often host illustrious members of our community such as Peter Tatchell, Lady Phyll, Clare Balding and Courtney Act. We have also hosted a wide variety of politicians at our events, from Prime Ministers Theresa May and Tony Blair, to former Speaker of the House John Bercow, Diane Abbott MP, and many others. The events team harnesses the convening power of PinkNews as a reputable media organisation to shed a light on important issues within the LGBT+ community. 

Meet the Manager

  • I joined PinkNews in 2022 and as Head of Events it is my responsibility along with Corporate Partnerships to make sure we create a successful events offering. I focus on event creation, market trends, delegate research and delivery. This involves producing around ten physical and digital conferences and one annual awards event per year. We're always looking to grow our events in scope and size to provide for the whole LGBTQ+ community, so that we are truly inclusive, which means my role is always evolving
